Sahifa ("the App") is developed by YassineLabs. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it.

Data We Collect

Account data

If you create an account, we store your email address and display name via Firebase Authentication. This is used solely for sign-in and syncing your data across devices.

App data

Your prayer tracking, Quran progress, du'a favourites, dhikr counts, and settings are stored in Firebase Firestore to enable cloud sync. This data is associated with your account and is not shared with anyone.

Analytics

With your explicit consent, we collect anonymous usage analytics via Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used and improve it. You can opt out at any time in the app settings. No analytics data is collected without your consent.

Data We Do Not Collect

  • We do not sell your data to anyone
  • We do not serve advertisements
  • We do not track you across other apps or websites
  • We do not collect your location (Qibla direction is calculated on-device)

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase infrastructure. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We follow industry standard security practices.

Your Rights

You can:

  • Use the app without creating an account (guest mode)
  • Delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app
  • Opt out of analytics at any time
  • Request a copy of your data by contacting us

GDPR Compliance

For users in the European Economic Area, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation. Analytics are only collected with explicit opt-in consent. You may withdraw consent at any time.

Children's Privacy

Sahifa does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app can be used in guest mode without creating an account.
